Happy Fourth Everyone! I hope you all are getting ready to celebrate your Independence and the right to pursue happiness. Of course, it goes without saying, but I will remind you that being Pro-Peace is Patriotic. Fireworks should be the only explosions that light the sky. Don't you agree?

With that being said I would like to add some snippets from a informational document put out by John Nichols for the CODEPINK Peace group. Thank You ! I would encourage you all to read this. It is short and informational. You can find, "Fourth of July Talking Points" by John Nichols HERE.
I took the liberty (no pun intended) to copy and illustrate Secretary of State, John Quincy Adams Speech to Congress on July 4, 1821. I transformed into a PDF that you can download to print. Check it out, it might surprise you. It surprised me. You can also click the image to enlarge to read it. Once again, this is from the "Fourth of July Talking Points" document.

A quick thought from yours truly. I hope you share my view. You are free to disagree. I respect that. :)
A prayer for the heart that holds the pain and also for the heart that has grown cold to its cries.
May the Oppressed, near and far, be free to their right to freedom and liberties. God Willing. May they be free to walk in their neighborhoods with their families. May they be free to sleep a restful nights sleep. May they live to see freedom in their lives.
May the ones blind to the humanity in shackled conditions, feel the seeds of compassion grow in their hearts. May they too, turn to Peace, and respect each life, at every turn they make, every step they take, and every cry they forsake.
Let us recognize the ones who keep us safe. The ones who give their lives. The Fallen, who just followed orders, however, perhaps to some, made in haste.
